Do you come to our house, or do we bring our pet to your facility?

We come to you. Even the initial consultation where we meet face to face is in the comfort of your own home at a time convenient to you.

Are you insured?

I am fully insured through "Pet Sitter's International"

Do you do overnights?

We do not stay at your home overnight. We make visits to your home to care for you pet(s) while you are away.

Are you Bonded?

I am not bonded. (What is bonding?) Bonding is a background check done by a private company. They are looking to see if the person in question has a criminal record. I assure you I do not. I do however, have an excellent reputation, and references if needed. Bonding is beneficial to an employer, so he or she knows what kind of person they have hired. Carrie Ledger has now joined No Fret Pet Care. Carrie has been a great friend of my wife and I for a long time now. She is a perfect addition, because I don't have to worry about trusting her. As the owner of No Fret Pet Care it would be detrimental to the further success of this business if I betrayed any clients trust, or hired someone I felt would not live up to the standards I strive for.

Do you do boarding?

It was our plan, but our home isn't zoned for it as we origionally thought.

Do you handle sick/diabetic animals

We are experienced with administering medications to even the most difficult of animals. We do not however handle diabetic animals.

Do you care for animals other than cats and dogs?

Yes. If your pet is legal in the state of Maine, or you have the proper permits, we can care for it. We have experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles/amphibians, exotics, hoof stock, and primates.

How much notice do you need?

It never hurts to give as much notice as possible, but I know how hectic people's schedules get. I try to stay as flexable as possible to accommodate your needs. The major holidays will need more notice to make sure I can fit you in. (Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years) For Pet Sitting call Carrie @ 399-9512.

Do you handle aggressive dogs?

Yes. From what I understand I am the only person in the area that will handle an aggressive animal. In all honesty they are my favorite. I like to be challenged in my work, and helping an owner that has lost hope for success is very rewarding. I am not afraid of getting bitten or attacked, it is all part of the process of changing their behavior for the better.

Is my dog safe even though you handle aggressive animals.

Yes, your dog and other dogs are completely safe. As soon as I take hold of any leash I consider that dog my own and I will do anything in my power to keep it safe and healthy. I always walk a new client alone for the first few walks so we get to know each other. I then bring my dog Ripley into the mix to see how things go before I allow any dog to walk with me in a group.
